Beginning February 12, 2006, the Yukon River Quest is pleased to announce an agreement with Air North, the Yukon's Airline, to grant participants in our event access to a low convention fare of $195 Cdn. each way (plus taxes) for flying to Whitehorse from Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary. The fare is valid for the month surrounding the race, June 14 to July 16, 2006, so you can stay longer in the Yukon.

Racers who registered before February 12 were e-mailed the Yukon River Quest convention code and information that day. If any racer did not receive the information, please email us at info@yukonriverquest.com. Those who register after Feb. 12 will be sent an e-mail and information in their registration packets.

This is a great arrangement for paddlers flying north for our event, as well as for the Yukon River Quest. For every 20 seats booked, Air North will be giving the Yukon River Marathon Paddlers Association a ticket that we can raffle off as a fund-raiser this spring and summer, or use to promote the race at shows next winter.
