Newbie: What model tandem kayaks have done well ?

Hello, this year will be my first Yukon RQ and I'm getting very excited learning about the race and starting to prepare for it. I have entered as a tandem kayak team and I guess my first task (aside from finding a partner) will be choosing a kayak. Is anyone willing to share what model tandem kayaks have done well in the past ? I looked at the past results page and was surprised not to find the models listed. I guess that works in with the idea that: it's not the boat, its the kayaker that makes the race in a race this long. Still, hullspeed seems like it would make a substantial difference. So, are any past competitors willing to share this information ? I promise, I won't be finishing in the top of the field this year; I'm just hoping to finish and not embarrass myself Smile
