Race Registration

Registrations for the 2026 race will be processed on the Webscorer platform.  If you already have a Webscorer account, you can login with this, or you will need to create an account during registration.

Entries open on 1st November at 10am, 2025 and will remain open until categories are full or until 13 May at 11:59pm.

All racers must submit their details and a paddling resume. If accepted, they will then receive a link to complete the waiver and pay their race fee.

Paddlers in solo or tandem teams who have not previously raced in the YRQ must provide a more detailed paddling resume prior to registration for review by the Race Committee.

The Committee reviews the paddling resumes to gauge whether you have the existing knowledge or the time and ability to develop the levels of fitness, paddling skills, survival and wilderness experiences appropriate to the race. However, the acceptance of the application into the Race is not an endorsement of the abilities of the applicant nor an indication that the Committee believes the applicant will successfully complete the Race.

YRMPA reserves the right to reject any entry.

Age limits

The minimum age limit in a team boat is 15 years (as of the day of the race) for racers. At least half the members of a tandem, C4, or voyageur entry must be 19 years or older. The minimum age limit for solo entry is 19 years. Parents of a minor must complete an Assumption of Risk form.
